This program showcases two of the great romantic masterpieces for strings: Mendelssohn’s heartbreaking Quartet in A minor, itself an homage to Beethoven’s quartets, and Brahms’s symphonic String Quintet no. 2, one of the richest and most satisfying works in the repertoire. These works will thrill you and tug at your heartstrings, as we conclude our Spring Festival with grandeur.
